BEST Ding Dang Cheezy Meatloaf





INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 Tbsp)
  • 1  teaspoon salt 
  • 1/2 teaspoon  black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2/3 cup ketchup, divided 1/3 and 1/3
  • 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef (chuck)
  • 3/4 pound of  ground pork sausage or Italian sausage
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients except 1/3 cup ketchup. 

Place in a 1 pound bread pan , pat down and cover with a sheet of aluminum foil.

Bake for 1 hour at 350°F. 

Uncover and...

Add reserved ketchup over the top of meatloaf and bake another 20 minutes uncovered.

Let stand 15 minutes before serving or it tends to crumble.

Serve on a nice buttered bun with extra cheese and lettuce!
